RARE BEATLES VINYL WITH SPELLING ERROR ATTRACTS WORLDWIDE BIDDERS Kelly Scanlon/FarOutMagazine A rare 1962 Beatles single has generated interest from bidders from across the world and could be sold for up to £9,000. The seven-inch vinyl single, one of only 250 worldwide, contains ‘Love Me Do’ alongside ‘P.S. I Love You’. According to vinyl specialist Rob Smee, its rare status is also connected to the fact that Paul McCartney’s name is misspelt on the pressing and instead reads ‘McArtney’. It was around midday that the Beatles emerged from the Apple studios up the steps to appear live in their legendary appearance on the Apple rooftop. The  latest  Beatles single  'Now and Then' was released a mere 27 years after the band's last Top 10 hit Real Love. These lads are just not prolific anymore:-). Strangely, Now and Then was released on Thursday, 2nd November but  still managed to enter  the UK Singles at No.42, rising to No.1 the following week.   The Beatles have achieved the coveted Christmas No.1 record on four occasions although none of the songs carried a Christmas theme. 1963  I Want to Hold Your Hand 1964 I Feel Fine 1965 Day Tripper/We Can Work It Out 1967 Hello Goodbye A week after the release of  I Want to Hold Your Hand, the Fan Club released their first Beatles Fan Club record to their 30,000 members.  In total seven Christmas Records were sent to Bearles Fan Club members: 17th October 1963:  The Beatles Christmas Record 26th October 1964:  Another Beatles Christmas Record 8th November1965: The Beatles Third Christmas Record 25th November 1966:...
